# Young Entrepreneurs: Create, Build & Sell! **Have an idea? Turn it into a real business!** In this exciting **8-week Young Entrepreneurs program**, students will experience what it's like to take an idea from imagination all the way to the marketplace! Students will **brainstorm, design, prototype, brand, price, and market their own creations** while learning the fundamentals of entrepreneurship and running a small business. Rather than just talking about business, students will actually **create a product and build a business around it.** Throughout the eight weeks, students will explore the entire product-development process. They'll start by brainstorming ideas and identifying products people might want to buy. Students will then design and prototype their creations, test their ideas, make improvements, and prepare their products for customers. Once their products are ready, it's time to build the business! Students will create a **business name, logo, packaging, pricing, and marketing materials** while learning how branding can make a product stand out. They'll also explore basic budgeting, including material costs, selling prices, profit, and how businesses make money. Students will develop important real-world skills including **creativity, communication, problem-solving, teamwork, financial literacy, marketing, and customer service.** The program finishes with a **real marketplace showcase**, where students will set up their own sales area, present their creations, interact with customers, and have the opportunity to **sell the products they created!** This isn't just a class about entrepreneurship—it's an opportunity for students to **become entrepreneurs.** **Dream It.
