This exciting, hands-on summer camp is designed for students ages 11 and older who are ready to explore the exciting world of engineering, manufacturing, and product design. Morning Session: Engineering Design Each morning, campers will think like professional engineers as they learn industry-inspired 3D CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software. They'll: Design real mechanical parts and assemblies Learn the engineering design process Create detailed 3D models and prototypes Solve engineering challenges using critical thinking Develop skills in manufacturing design and product development Learn how engineers turn ideas into real products Afternoon Session: Build What You Designed In the afternoon, the classroom becomes a real engineering workshop! Campers will bring their digital designs to life by: Building and assembling their engineered projects Using real tools and manufacturing techniques Testing, improving, and redesigning their creations Learning how engineering prototypes become finished products Working as an engineering team to solve real-world challenges Throughout the week, students will discover how engineering, innovation, manufacturing, and technology work together to create the products we use every day.
