Service Description

This is a hands-on engineering and coding course, where students don’t just build robots, they will learn how their robot works, and work on inventing their own version of one! This 6-week program guides students through the process of becoming a maker: from understanding what a robot is to assembling and programming their own machine (to take home), to customizing and improving it with 3d printing (they will do in class). Throughout the course, students will: • Learn how robots are built and how they “think” • Assemble and customize their own robot • Write beginner-friendly code to control lights, sound, and motion • Explore how electronics, mechanics, and programming work together • Design and 3D-print custom robot parts and tools • Solve creative engineering challenges • Test, debug, and improve their designs • Present their final robot in a showcase experience Every student’s robot will look and behave differently — because every student’s ideas are different.
