2D Animation Mon & Tues AM

Service Description

Develop the skills to create cartoons, from concept art to adding audio and lip-syncing. Students will see each step in the process from first sketches to final animated short film demonstrated, and then will be given the time to learn, explore, and experiment with the tools to build their skill. This class will cover concept art, storyboarding, keyframes, tweening, adding audio, and lip-syncing. By the end of the class, students will have had the opportunity to develop original concept art, follow the development cycle from start to finish, and leave with an animated character of their own design. This is a 6-week program. No lab fee required. This program is for students aged 8 and up, or those who can hold a writing utensil!
